Acron Aviation Academy Welcomes 16 New Cadets in August 2025 Intake
Sanford, Florida, USA – Acron Aviation Academy, the United States based flight training base of Acron Aviation, has welcomed 16 new cadets to its August intake, marking the start of their professional pilot training journey.
Earlier this month Acron Aviation announced the signing of an Educational Service Agreement (ESA) with the United States Air Force to deliver initial pilot training for Air Force officers selected for Undergraduate Pilot Training. This milestone partnership marks a historic first with Acron Aviation becoming one of the first Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standalone Part 141 flight schools to receive an ESA from the U.S. Air Force to support its pilot training pipeline.
Under the agreement, Acron Aviation will provide rigorous flight training at its world-class facilities, equipped with over 100 modern aircraft, advanced simulation technology, and a team of highly skilled certified flight instructors committed to excellence. This collaboration reflects Acron Aviation’s continued dedication to developing the next generation of elite aviators.
David Cox, VP and Director of Acron Aviation’s Airline Academy said: “We are deeply honored to partner with the United States Air Force in this important mission.” Cox continued, “To be selected as one of the first Part 141 flight school to support this effort is a testament to the unwavering commitment our team has to quality, safety, and innovation in aviation training. We are proud to play a role in shaping the future of our nation’s Airmen.”
With the first-class starting training in November 2025, this program will prepare U.S. Air Force officers with the foundational skills and airmanship needed to succeed as pilots; and will result in them earning their private pilot certificate, instrument rating and multi-engine rating.
Acron Aviation’s facilities, located in Sanford, Florida, offer ideal year-round flying conditions, immersive instruction, and an environment designed to mirror the professional demands of the aviation industry.
This agreement reinforces Acron Aviation’s position as a national leader in aviation training and its ambition to become a trusted partner to military and government organizations seeking top-tier training outcomes.
