Airbus’s European Flight School, Airbus Flight Academy Europe, located in Champniers, Charente, France is looking for a Chief Flight Instructor.

Job Description:

The FI is responsible for constructing and delivering theory courses for the benefit of Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and/or company pilot trainees, in accordance with current procedures and regulations. To carry out instructional flights for the benefit of the various trainees of the ATO and/or the company. Substitute, if necessary, the pilots/planners of the company for the flights dedicated to the operations office.

Tasks and missions:

• Write the theoretical courses and ensure their delivery to the various trainee pilots, in compliance with the regulations;
• Design the training materials;
• Prepare the documentation and the classroom;
• Provide courses on simulators and aircraft;
• Supervise the trainees during their entire training;
• Develop a teaching method according to the audience;
• Prepare, carry out and follow the various instructional flights incumbent on the ATO and/or the Company.

Additional tasks:

• Provide aircraft technology courses incumbent on the Company, in the absence of the instructional cell manager.

Profile:

• At least a CPL and an FI;
• Required: IR or IRI extension
