Airbus Miami Opens 2025 SFI Positions to Support A320 and A350 Training Programs

06th Nov 2025

Florida, USA – Airbus is expanding its flight instructor team at the Airbus Training Center (ATC) Miami, inviting applications for full-time and part-time Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) to support increasing training demand across its A320, A330, A340, and A350 XWB programs. The move comes as Airbus continues to scale up its crew training operations in the Americas, where its Miami facility serves as one of the manufacturer’s largest global training hubs.

  • The Airbus Training Center in Miami delivers flight and maintenance training to over 2,000 cadets annually, supporting airline customers throughout the Americas and beyond. The 110,000-square-foot complex houses six full-flight simulators, computer-based classrooms, and cabin door and slide trainers, providing complete end-to-end training solutions.
  • Applicants must hold or have held an FAA ATP or Commercial Instrument Rating (Multi-Engine) with experience on Airbus aircraft types—preferably the A320, A330, or A350—and possess at least 4,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 hours in jets and 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • Candidates should demonstrate substantial simulator instructional experience (SFI/TRI) and be fluent in English, with the ability to provide written reports and performance assessments to airline customers and regulatory authorities.
  • Full-time instructors benefit from a comprehensive employment package including competitive base salary, bonuses, profit-sharing, retirement savings, stock ownership opportunities, and health insurance.
  • Part-time instructors are offered flexible scheduling arrangements and competitive pay—ideal for experienced airline pilots or instructors seeking to maintain recency and industry engagement alongside other commitments.
