Airbus Reports 204 Net Aircraft Orders in Q1 2025

Global – aircraft manufacturer Airbus SE reported its first quarter 2025 results, highlighting continued momentum in aircraft orders despite delivery delays attributed to supply chain constraints. While the company confirmed its production ramp-up plans, delivery schedules remain heavily weighted towards the latter part of the year.

  • Gross commercial aircraft orders for Q1 2025 reached 280 units, up from 170 in Q1 2024; net orders stood at 204 aircraft

  • Commercial aircraft backlog stood at 8,726 units as of March 31, 2025

  • Airbus delivered 136 commercial aircraft in Q1 2025, slightly down from 142 in Q1 2024:

    • 17 A220s

    • 106 A320 Family

    • 4 A330s

    • 9 A350s

  • Airbus Helicopters recorded 100 net orders, with 51 units delivered

  • A320 Family production ramp-up targets remain at 75 per month by 2027

  • A330 production stabilised at around 4 per month

  • A350 ramp-up to 12 per month by 2028; A220 target is 14 per month by 2026

  • Specific challenges with Spirit AeroSystems are affecting A220 and A350 ramp-up schedules
