Airbus Targets to Achieve 720 Commercial Aircraft Deliveries in 2023

13th Mar 2023

Airbus in its full-year 2022 results announced its target to achieve 720 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2023 anchored upon the assumption that no additional disruptions to the world economy, air traffic, supply chain, Company’s internal operations, and its ability to deliver products and services.

AFM Team Note – using a conservative crew to aircraft ratio of 6 this would translate into over 8,600 pilots being required if the assumption was that all the aircraft are for fleet growth (not the case due to fleet replacement cases).
