Airbus’s Flight School in Europe is Looking to Hire for a Number of Positions Inc. a Range of Instructors

Airbus Flight Academy Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus, is hiring for for numerous positions including a range of instructor positions. Please see an extract from the Airbus Flight Academy Europe Career website below.

“Created in 2006 at Cognac air base, Airbus Flight Academy Europe provides training facilities and services to the Air Force and Navy flight schools for the basic and advanced training of military pilots at the bases of : Avord, Cognac, Lann-Bihoué, Lanvéoc and Salon de Provence.

In 2019, the company decided to deploy its own ab-initio pilot training capability at Champniers. Airbus Flight Academy Europe offers an integrated Airline Transport Pilot training based on the Airbus Pilot Cadet Training Programme.

Since its creation, Airbus Flight Academy Europe has delivered over 470 000 flight hours and 116 500 simulator hours. To support its activities, the company maintains more than 100 aircraft on a daily basis, of which 50 are owned.

The academy is looking to hire for the following positions;

Champniers

  • Theoretical Knowledge Instructor
  • Light Aircraft Technical Manager (Responsable Technique Avions Légers)
  • Flight Instructor
  • Maintenance Technician License 66 B2 or Be2 (Technicien de maintenance license 66 B2 ou Be2)

Cognac

  • Maintenance Technician License 66 B2 or Be2 (Technicien de maintenance license 66 B2 ou Be2)
  • Technical Office Technician (Technicien Bureau Technique)

Lann Bihoué

  • Maintenance Technician License B2 (Technicien de maintenance license B2)

Lanvéoc

  • Maintenance Technician License B1.2 (Technicien de maintenance license B1.2)

Salon de Provence

  • Maintenance Technician (Technicien de maintenance)
