Airline Offers Pilots Close To $100,000 To Slow Down Resignations

Cathay Pacific Airways is said to adjust its pilots monthly allowances and other benefits to try and retain its pilots as the airline is battling pilot frustration with Hong Kong’s pandemic policies.  Some of the adjustments can be highlighted as follows;

  • Senior Captains will receive a monthly allowance of $4,590
  • Pilot’s will receive HK$100,000 per child for school fees (for up to three children)

The adjustments are made for both Captains and First Officers.
