Aquila Jet Training, Cineon Training, and The University of Exeter have teamed up to develop exciting training systems for Airbus A320 pilots, incorporating VR and eye tracking

19th Aug 2021

They have pooled their respective expertise to develop an exciting prototype training system, based on the Airbus A320. They are developing a VR system utilising 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) technology that gives the user a fully immersive experience. They have combined this with eye tracking to create another dimension. This system is called, Training Aircrew Competency using Eye Tracking (TACET).

Aquila Jet Training is looking for pilots to take part in our trial, taking place at L3Harris Commercial Aviation’s London Training Centre near Crawley.
