Australia-based Flight School Announces Installation of VR Flight Training Devices in 2024
Bankstown Airport, New South Wales, Australia headquartered flight training group Sydney Flight College (SFC) which recently expanded to a second base in Tamworth shared through its Head of Operations Andrew McIntosh that it has taken delivery of True Course Simulation devices. It is the first flight training organization in Australia to integrate True Course Simulations into its training center. With the installation of two state-of-the-art VR Immersive Flight Training Devices, SFC has set a new bar in terms of pilot training equipment.

SFC achieved the following 2023 metrics:
- 295 new students
- 104 graduated students
- 15,250 recorded flight hours
- 40 aircraft
- 40 instructors, 12 of which joined in 2023 while 10 long standing instructors moved into airline roles
