CAE is Seeking EASA Flight Instructor Trainer for Phoenix, USA Base in December 2024

Mesa, Arizona, USA –CAE is seeking EASA Flight Instructor Trainer to join its Phoenix Aviation Academy. The position focuses on delivering high-quality flight, simulator, and ground instruction for EASA applicants or EASA instructors seeking additional ratings seeking additional ratings/qualifications in compliance with the CAE Global Academy Training and Safety standards and applicable aviation authority regulations.  This role also involves coaching and mentoring Flight Instructors while maintaining CAE’s rigorous training and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

FAA Commercial Certificate with EASA FCL900c FI(A) or an EASA/UKCAA CPL and FI(A) RatingPrivilege of FCL905(j) to instruct for Instructor Qualifications (preferred; strong candidates without it may be considered)Proficiency in effective instructional techniques, aeronautical knowledge, and student performance demonstrationsExcellent verbal communication, public speaking, and coaching skillsAbility to deliver constructive feedback and supervise Flight Instructors

Key Duties

Provide training for FAA Commercial Flight Instructors to gain EASA and UK Flight Instructor RatingsConduct standardized preflight briefings, structured air exercises, and debriefingsMentor and provide feedback on instructor performanceEnsure adherence to CAE Global Academy’s Training and Safety Standards
