Cathay Group Enhances Pilot Training Capability in 2025 with New CAE A320neo Full‑Flight Simulator

Hong Kong – The Cathay Flight Training Centre, part of the Cathay Group, has welcomed a new state‑of‑the‑art full‑flight simulator – a CAE manufactured Airbus A320neo 7000XR.

  • The training device features CAE’s Prodigy visual system, elevating realism and enabling advanced airline‑crew scenarios.
  • The move supports the Cathay Group’s broader fleet renewal and training expansion plans, which include orders for more than 100 aircraft (with over 30 A320neo/A321neo) and investments exceeding HK$100 billion in fleet, cabin and digital innovation.
