Cathay Pacific Graduates First Group of Pilot Cadets Since Pandemic

Hong Kong based airline Cathay Pacific is delighted to share that their first group of cadets has recently graduated since the pandemic. The highly anticipated Cadet Graduation Ceremony has concluded, celebrating 19 graduates’ completion of the airline’s Cadet Pilot Training Programme. “This programme has helped us cultivate outstanding pilots within the industry and is a testament to our commitment to develop our future aviation professionals,” Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer remarked.

Looking to the future, Cathay Pacific plans to continue this effort by expanding their pool of talent to recruit more than 800 cadet pilots by the end of 2024.
