Czech Republic Flight School, F AIR, Transitions to High-Quality Aviation Fuel to Minimize Impact of Fuel Price Increases

03rd Jan 2024

F AIR announced updates regarding changes in fuel prices that will take effect from January 1, 2024. Check out F AIR’s announcement below:

“A recently approved government austerity package for this year has brought several changes, and one of them is the cancellation of the exemption on consumption tax for aviation fuels within the territory of the Czech Republic.

Your support and trust are crucial to us, which is why we have decided to take proactive measures and seek solutions that minimize the impact of fuel price changes on your experiences and costs associated with flight training.

We are pleased that within our flight school F AIR, we have found a favorable solution in this new situation. Effective from January 2024, we are transitioning to high-quality aviation fuel without bio-components, Natural 98, which allows us to minimize the impact of fuel price increases on our clients.

Thanks to our modern fleet, we are able to maintain fuel prices for the vast majority of our aircraft with minimal increases, except for a few specific pieces that cannot operate on Natural 98 fuel but exclusively on Avgas 91/100. This decision to transition to Natural 98 fuel, which was already taxed before the government’s austerity package was issued, allows us to continue providing high-quality services at favorable fuel prices.”
