Today, on the doorstep of the legendary “Oshkosh Airshow” aka EAA AirVenture, the Vertical Flight Society brought together aviation OEMs, suppliers, consultants, investors, and customers to discuss the impact of electric propulsion across both vertical and conventional takeoff platforms. I was humbled to offer our fixed wing (conventional) perspective with an update on our eFlyer 2 all-electric aircraft program aimed to help flight school owner/operators lower their operating costs by up to 80 percent, and hopefully pass along significant savings to our nation’s and global flight students.
