Florida, USA – US flight training organisation Epic Flight Academy has welcomed another group of newly enrolled pilot training students for orientation at its headquarters campus at New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport, Florida. The October 2026 intake continues the academy's recurring student enrolments, drawing participants from across the United States and the Caribbean.

  • The latest cohort comprises 15 students representing 11 US states—Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin—as well as St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
  • Epic's New Smyrna Beach campus offers FAA Part 141 flight training through full-time, part-time and accelerated training pathways. Its six-month Fast Track Pilot Program, introduced in June 2026, provides an accelerated route through private pilot, instrument, commercial single-engine and commercial multi-engine training.
  • AFM previously reported that Epic Flight Academy welcomed 27 new flight students at New Smyrna Beach in September 2026, following an earlier intake of 22 students in July. The October cohort represents another intake at the academy's original training location.
  • Flight training at New Smyrna Beach is supported by Cessna 172 Skyhawks equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics, Piper PA-44 Seminoles and Tecnam P2006T aircraft for multi-engine training, alongside advanced aviation training devices.
