Durban, South Africa – Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) will be represented by Global Sales and Partnerships Manager David Studden at the Third ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) Global Summit, scheduled from 12 to 14 August 2025 at the Durban International Conference Centre.

The summit is co-hosted by ICAO and the South African Civil Aviation Authority under the Department of Transport, with the theme “The Flight Plan for Future Aviation Talent: Innovate, Educate, Inspire – Building the Workforce for the Skies Ahead.”

• The NGAP Summit is a high‑level global convening of regulators, educators, industry leaders, and youth focusing on strategies to attract, develop, and retain the aviation workforce of tomorrow.

• Participants will explore global workforce forecasts revealing significant demand: by 2037, ICAO projects needs for over 554,000 pilots, 665,000 maintenance technicians, 922,000 cabin crew, and 106,000 air traffic controllers.
