European Flight Training Organisation Aero Locarno Announces Partnership with Airline for Multi Crew Pilot License Program
Aero Locarno, a flight training group headquartered in Locarno, Switzerland with a second flight training base in Italy announced its partnership with Sky Alps, an Italian airline with its headquarters and hub at Bolzano Airport. The two organizations signed an agreement for a Multi Crew Pilot License (MPL) program. Aero Locarno is now looking for cadets who want to become SkyAlps pilots.
The project aims to train students interested in becoming professional airline pilots by providing the highest level of competence before entering the world of aeronautical work, guaranteeing the possibility of employment as a First Officer with Sky Alps once the training is over.
Program information includes;
- The flight activity and part of the simulator activity takes place at Cuneo Airport and in Locarno. The Type Rating on the Dash8-Q400 takes place in Wien or Stockholm.
- There are 2 annual courses, one starting in January and the other one starting in October.
- Financing opportunities are available in accordance with the BNL ‘honor loan’ model, which covers a large part of the training costs. Individual solutions can be discussed directly with the lending institution.
