A conference highlight will be the keynote session on the newly released EASA Certification Specification for Flight Simulation Training Devices (CS-FSTD) and the updated Part ORA/ARA. These pivotal regulations will impact the qualification process for flight simulators used in pilot training and are partially based on ICAO 9625, originally developed by the RAeS Flight Simulation Specialist Group.
