Flight Simulator Manufacturer Completes Installation of Training Device at Texas-based University
Netherlands based flight simulator manufacturer TRC Simulators announced it has completed the installation of a flight training device at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. The setup includes a Varjo Mixed Reality system, providing an astonishing 360-degree immersive visual experience.
TRC Simulators produces a complete line of affordable realistic flight training devices. Not like most low cost flight simulators equipped with LCD screens, simulating aircraft instruments. Instead all TRC Simulators flight simulators are equipped with replicated, but realistic instruments showing no difference in size, position and functionality compared to real instruments. Its TRC 472 Flight Simulator line is based on a Cessna 172. This Cessna 172 Flight Simulator can be configured with an analog panel, or with a glass cockpit panel.
