Flight Simulator Manufacturer MPS Hands Over A320 FTD to Japan’s Peach Aviation
Japan — MPS has successfully installed and formally handed over an A320 FTD Level 5 to Peach Aviation Limited (Peach), a leading Japanese airline. The simulator is located at the Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan and will be utilized by Peach flight crews for captain upgrade training. The simulator will additionally be utilized for training maintenance crews due to the high accuracy of the device, eliminating significant costs for Peach as no on-airplane training is needed. The purchase of the MPS simulator was supported by ANA Trading Co., LTD.
Peach was founded in 2011 and launched service in 2012. The airline currently operates 36 aircraft and offers 25 domestic routes as well as 15 international routes. In May of 2024, the airline exceeded 60 million passengers served, with safety at the forefront of its operations.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Peach and ANA Trading Co. to provide an exceptional simulator for Peach pilots,” said Jean Francois Tessier, MPS Vice President of Global Sales, “This collaboration will guarantee that pilots for Peach receive top-tier training, equipping them for real-world scenarios. We anticipate a successful partnership that will positively impact Japan’s aviation sector.”
