Flight Simulator Manufacturer VirtualFly Installs Devices at Newton Flight Academy in Germany
Aircraft manufacturer Boeing unveiled the first Newton Flight Academy in Germany located in Brandenburg. The academy has three VirtualFly full-motion flight simulators and a laboratory for hands-on STEM learning. The devices from simulator manufacturer VirtualFly are three DUO SIM MEG simulators, which allow students to fly various Single Engine and Twin-Engine Piston aircraft, including the Beechcraft Baron G58, Cessna 172 SP, Cessna 182 RG, Diamond DA-40 XLT, and Diamond DA-42 NG.
“Together with Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (CHESCO) and FIRST Scandinavia we’re fostering a new generation of innovators and problem-solvers,” said Boeing.
Newton Flight Academy is a pioneering flight training facility, blending advanced simulators, modern technology, and all-encompassing educational programs to craft an integrated learning journey for aspiring pilots. The academy aspires to inspire and prepare the upcoming generation of aviators, furnishing them with necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in aviation.
