Florida, United States – The Astronauts Memorial Foundation in partnership with Epic Flight Academy is providing one student who attends the Career and Networking Event on April 1, 2023 a full scholarship to become an FAA-certified airframe and powerplant (A&P) aviation mechanic (also known as an AMT – aviation maintenance technician). This program can lead to careers in the aerospace industry. The scholarship covers tuition and materials for the 19-month program, valued at $30,000. This includes five courses, books, tools, materials, and 3 FAA written exams. This event is open to high school juniors/seniors (grade levels 11-12) and college/university students. This event is also open to recent graduates (must have graduated no earlier than June 2022).
