France Air Expo and Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes Aeronautics and Space Academy Renew Partnership for Training

28th Oct 2025

France – The France Air Expo 2026, scheduled from 4–6 June 2026 at Lyon‑Bron Airport, has confirmed the renewal of its partnership with the Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes Aeronautics and Space Academy. The collaboration emphasises regional training, industry outreach and the future‑pilot pipeline in one of France’s leading aviation‑and‑space hubs.

  • The Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes region supports over 500 aerospace companies and more than 30,000 jobs, making it a strategic region for training and workforce development.

  • Within the expo, the Academy will organise the return of the “Horizon Aerospace Forum” to showcase aerospace professions, training courses and innovations to young people in the region.

  • The expo will feature a dedicated careers and training village aimed at flight schools, institutions and students – integrating the Academy’s mission to label and develop training courses aligned with industry needs.

  • This partnership builds on the success of the 2025 Horizon Aerospace Forum, which gathered more than 1,000 young participants around aeronautics and space professions.
