FTD.aero B738 FTD for T’way Air Successfully Installed and Certified in Korea

01st Aug 2025

Seoul, Korea – FTD.aero-built B738 Flight Simulation Training Device has been successfully installed at T’way Air’s training facility in Seoul and certified as a Level 4 FTD by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) — the regulatory authority overseeing civil aviation in Korea.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in FTD.aero’s growth and international expansion, and further demonstrates the quality and regulatory compliance of flight training devices developed and manufactured by FTD.aero in Poland.

As highlighted in earlier project updates, the FTD was customized to meet the airline’s specific training needs, with a strong focus on operational realism, cost efficiency, and planned future upgrades to align with the airline’s fleet development.

Following the certification, pilot training sessions have already commenced, with extremely positive feedback from T’way Air’s flight crews. Instructors and trainees alike have praised the high fidelity, user friendliness, and immersive training environment of the FTD.aero-built device.

FTD.aero will also be exhibiting at Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) at booth #501, taking place in Singapore between 26th-27th of August.
