FTD.aero installs a B73M FSTD at Flyschool Air Academy in Spain
Spain – flight simulator manufacturer FTD.aero has successfully installed a B73M flight simulation training device at Flyschool Air Academy at Cuatro Vientos Airport in Madrid.
This new FSTD represents an important enhancement to Flyschool’s advanced training capabilities and will soon play a key role in APS MCC programmes, as well as airline-oriented pilot preparation. The simulator has completed its Site Acceptance Test, demonstrating exceptional performance and build quality with no findings and is currently entering the final phase of certification, expected to be approved by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA) within the coming weeks as an EASA FNPT II MC device.
Once certified, the simulator will support:
-
Enhanced Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Airline Pilot Standard (APS) training aligned with real airline operations.
-
Expanded training portfolio supporting integrated pilot courses and advanced jet orientation programs (JOC).
-
More opportunities for external pilots to prepare for airline selection and type-related training.
This milestone further strengthens Flyschool Air Academy’s position as a leading European ATO, committed to delivering high-quality, and future-focused airline pilot training, using the most advanced and the most realistic B73M type-representative simulator in Spain.
