Global Pilot Training Group, Skyborne, Announces ‘Head of Airline Business’ Appointment

Gloucestershire-based pilot training group Skyborne has promoted Carla Booth to Group Head of Airline Business, a new position responsible for growing the academy’s relationships with key global airlines. In the role, Carla, who joined Skyborne as Head of Recruitment in early 2019, will be tasked with building airline pathways for prospective Skyborne trainees, alongside customer support and pilot selection.

Carla has extensive aviation experience and was Head of Airline Careers at L3Harris Commercial Aviation prior to joining Skyborne. Before this, she spent eight years at CTC Aviation Training as Selection Manager.
