Global Simulator Manufacturer, ALSIM, is Looking for a Sales Manager for North America Region

ALSIM, a developer and manufacturer of FAA & EASA certified FNPTII, FNPTII MCC & AATD flight simulators, is looking for a Sales Manager for its North America region office. Please see an extract of the job post below.

“The Sales Manager is to work in partnership with the Head of ALSIM North America to help sell the company’s advanced flight training simulators. This person will act as an ALSIM ambassador and is responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory (USA and Canada). They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.

The Sales Manager should be able and willing to prospect new business through phone calls, courtesy calls for maintaining sales, provide quotes and quote follow up, and/or physically visit the prospect to assist them in closing the sale. The Sales Manager is also responsible to have the ability to provide a prospect or customer with product knowledge and assist customers with product selection. This person may also be the first contact for prospects and customers and therefore will have the ability to be compassionate to their needs. The Sales Manager will also be required to attend several aviation focused events throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with new customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
  • Provide professional customer service.
  • Gathers pertinent contact information and directly updates the CRM and DB
  • Attend meetings with ALSIM executive staff, report on status of pipeline progress.
  • Provide suggestions/feedback to management to improve departmental procedures and processes.
  • Perfors other sales duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skill sets are necessary to be successful.
  • 2+ years sales or account management experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
  • Project/Negotiation management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required
  • Willing to work independently at times

Added benefits for the position:

  • An interest in aviation or some piloting experience strongly preferred
  • Spanish or French speaking is a plus point”
