Honeycomb will open its first new Academy in San Diego in the last part of 2021 which will have 16 simulators. Student pilots will be able to book a session free of charge.

Honeycomb plans to use this as a proof of concept and it has plans to expand to 30 of the biggest cities in America. The Academy will be running as a non-profit with the vision to give “almost every kind in America access to a sim to choose a career in aviation”.
