India’s largest low cost carrier IndiGo is seeking to hire for the role of “Assistant Manager – Pilot Training” to be based at its facilities in Gurgaon, India. Please see an extract of the job post below.

The Assistant Manager- Pilot Training is responsible for supporting the Deputy Chief Pilot, Training. This includes creating PowerPoint presentations, writing reports, managing Excel and Power BI data creation & analysis, and acting as a support when the Deputy Chief Pilot is out of office. The Assistant Training Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and addressing the administrative requirements and help achieve the responsibility areas of the Deputy Chief Pilot, training department.

The ideal candidate will require to have excellent communication skills, be able to understand and apply aviation training regulations in the airline and have strong reading and writing skills. The Assistant Manager- Pilot Training will monitor the reports on effectiveness of training programs, liaison on training conferences and seminars with stakeholders, and stay updated on training trends.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and assess current and future training needs in consultation with his reporting manager.Coordinate on overall training and development plan with other training departments.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by creating constructive reports.Monitor the training budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with other verticals within to identify training departmental needs and create customized reports.Create PowerPoint presentations for training programsManage Excel and Power BI data for training programsAct as an Senior Manager to the Deputy Chief Pilot, Training when out of officeCoordinate with other departments to ensure training programs are aligned with business goalsStay up to date on training regulations in aviationEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvementReport making, collation and analysisUnderstand latest developments in the airlines training, like TMS, EBT, etcTracking and follow up of tasks and projects with all stakeholders.support in Internal and IOSA audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computers science, IT, Business, Leadership, learning & development, Education, or a related field.5+ years of experience in training or educationExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong understanding of training regulations in aviationFamiliarity with traditional and modern training methods.Strong organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience with Power BIAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skills”
