Italy – Aero Club Torino, an Italian aviation club operating the recently established Aero Torino Flight School, has added a Cessna F150 aircraft, registered I-MRVE, to its fleet at Turin-Aeritalia Airport. Announced on 1 October 2026, the aircraft addition is intended to increase availability for basic pilot training, aircraft rental and flight-hour building as the organisation expands its professional pilot training activities.

  • The club's current published fleet listing identifies 21 aircraft, comprising 11 powered aircraft for training, touring and aerobatics, two glider towing aircraft, seven gliders and motor gliders, and one ultralight. Its simulation equipment includes an FNPT II MCC training device.
  • Aero Club Torino said the additional aircraft will provide more flying slots for students and club members, including those undertaking initial pilot training and building flight hours toward professional qualifications through Aero Torino Flight School.
  • On 7 October 2026, Aero Torino Flight School commenced its first ATPL theoretical knowledge course, ANDROMEDA, with all 18 available places filled. The course followed the organisation's transition into an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in September.
  • AFM previously reported that Aero Torino Flight School launched its first ATO training course with 38 students in September 2026. The BRAVO 2026 intake included students pursuing Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL), Sailplane Pilot Licence (SPL) and recreational flying qualifications.
  • The newly added aircraft is a Reims-built Cessna F150, a two-seat, high-wing trainer powered by a 100 hp Continental O-200-A engine. The aircraft has a published cruise speed of 100 knots and a maximum takeoff weight of 726 kg, and is intended for introductory flights, PPL instruction and flight-hour building.
