Leading Indian Flight School Signs Two New Bases For Expansion

Chimes Aviation Academy, India’s premier aviation academy, has taken Neemuch and Shivpuri airfields on lease from the Government of Madhya Pradesh state. These will be Chimes’s second and third bases in the state.

Chimes Aviation will have the Neemuch airfield operational by December 2022 with the capacity to train upto a 100 cadets at any one time, with Shivpuri airfield to follow soon after Neemuch airfield is made operational.

CEO, Y.N. “Bobby” Sharma added: “We are very happy to continue to operate in Madhya Pradesh, as we feel the area is ideally suited to flying training and with the support of the local government we hope to be operational as soon as possible. We will be adding to the number of training aircraft flying under Indian skies by bringing in 10 brand new training aircraft to Neemuch to create what promises to be a world class institute to train the pilots who are to become the future of Indian aviation.”

Chimes Aviation is currently based out of Dhana Airstrip, Sagar District, Madhya Pradesh.
