Lockheed Martin Names Jeremy King as New Chief Executive for Australia and New Zealand
Australia – Lockheed Martin has announced the appointment of Major General (Retd) Jeremy King as its incoming Vice President and Chief Executive for Australia and New Zealand, effective 23 February 2026, marking a leadership transition that aligns with the company’s ongoing strategic focus on defense capability development in the region.

Jeremy King brings over 30 years of experience in the Australian Army, most recently serving as Head of Joint Aviation Systems.

In this role, he was responsible for directing acquisition and sustainment across some of Australia’s most complex defense aviation projects, with oversight across all branches of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

King will succeed Warren McDonald, who is retiring after a notable tenure as Chief Executive for Lockheed Martin Australia and New Zealand.
