Major US Airline to Hire 2,500 Pilots in 2023

31st Jan 2023

United Airlines plans to hire 2,500 pilots this year as part of its intention to hire roughly 10,000 pilots by the end of the decade. Last year, the airline hired about 2,400 pilots.

Recently, the airline celebrated the graduation of United Aviate Academy’s inaugural class of 51 pilots. “United is leading the industry in the training, recruitment and hiring of the next generation of talented commercial pilots and the progress we’ve made at United Aviate Academy after just one year is another example of an airline where good leads the way,” said United CEO Scott Kirby .
