Maltese Flight School Upgrades ALSIM Simulator in 2024

Malta – Malta School of Flying (MSOF) has announced significant upgrades to its ALSIM simulator, used for Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training. CEO Patrick Fenech confirmed the enhancements during a recent discussion, highlighting the improvements in training quality and effectiveness.

  • The simulator, based at the Luqa training facility, has been upgraded with a new operating system, laser projectors, and updated hardware.
  • The first batch of IR students has already completed training using the enhanced simulator.
  • Three students have recently commenced MCC training, benefiting from the upgraded technology.
