Maltese Flight School Upgrades ALSIM Simulator in 2024

Malta– Malta School of Flying (MSOF) has announced significant upgrades to its ALSIM simulator, used for Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training. CEO Patrick Fenech confirmed the enhancements during a recent discussion, highlighting the improvements in training quality and effectiveness.

The simulator, based at the Luqa training facility, has been upgraded with a new operating system, laser projectors, and updated hardware.The first batch of IR students has already completed training using the enhanced simulator.Three students have recently commenced MCC training, benefiting from the upgraded technology.
