Salient’s ATO Chooses Flight Training Operations Software Aviatize to Take Airbus Sim Training Management to the Next Level

A few days before the start of the European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal, Salient and Aviatize announced their collaboration.

Last week, Salient, a Croatian ATO which is part of the Salient Group performed its first sim training after the implementation of the Aviatize all-in-one management platform. The platform will take care of scheduling trainees in simulators that are located in different parts of the world, keep track of gradings and trainee progress but also be the management system in terms of safety and compliance as well as being the administration hub for the ATO.

For Aviatize it is yet another collaboration with a large training organization since it started to focus more on flight training organizations and its move to Phoenix – USA, earlier this year.

Tom Verbruggen – Aviatize’s CEO says: “We are very pleased to have the Salient ATO being part of our growing family. Salient’s ATO has an innovative approach and looks into the future, with the adoption of EBT and CBTA principles. That’s also what we do. For us it is important to show that we do not only provide full support to flight training organisations that fly airplanes or helicopters, but that we are also capable of providing the same value to simulator training.”

Capt. Veronica Zunic – Director for Salient ATO adds “Salient is excited to be working with Aviatize as Aviatize brings with it quality, ease of use and compliance. It is designed by pilots for pilots and is the most user-friendly training management tool that I have seen. It has many features but the compliance and functionality are excellent. The team is professional, helpful and willing to answer queries at any time of the day or night.”

Aviatize is the all-in-one platform for flight schools, ATO’s and the general aviation industry. The in depth platform is very versatile and customizable to the workflows of the customer and replaces up to 10 other applications often used by general aviation companies and flight schools.

It has offices in Phoenix – Arizona, Gent- Belgium and is represented in South Africa. Aviatize will be at EATS in Cascais on 8th and 9th November at stand 913.

Salient is the leading provider of Evidence-based Training (EBT) and Competency-based Training and Assessment (CBTA) solutions to support airlines and other air operators, helicopter operators, training organizations and authorities around the world.
