Spanish Training Organisation World Aviation Receives Approval from AESA to Deliver the ATPL(H)/IR Course
On September 29, 2023 following its expansion strategy, the Spain based aviation training organisation World Aviation group received approval from AESA to deliver the ATPL(H)/IR course. This program represents the highest level a helicopter pilot aspirant can achieve. Training will be conducted on single-engine piston aircraft, offering students the choice between the Robinson 22 (R22) and the Cabri G2 models. Additionally, the qualification to operate the AS355 model in instrument mode and in multi-crew operations will be included.
This approval comes at a time of growing demand in the job market for helicopter pilots and reinforces the wide range of courses that World Aviation already offers through its training division, WA Flight Academy. At their Madrid-Cuatro Vientos center, they have state-of-the-art facilities, including a latest-generation helicopter simulator. It is essential to highlight the excellent team of professionals that make up this group, covering all areas of aviation: pilots, engineers, maintenance technicians, instructors, and other involved personnel. With their high professional qualifications, the result of years of experience, combined with a vast range of services, modern facilities, and an extensive fleet, positions WA GROUP as a leader in the aviation sector.
On the other hand, it should be noted that World Aviation will participate in the 2023 edition of European Rotors, the most prestigious helicopter aviation fair in Europe, to be held at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid from November 27 to 30, 2023. This event, organized by the European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Air Safety Council (EASA), will focus on the latest innovations and advances in the field of helicopters and vertical aviation, bringing together thousands of professionals and exhibitors from the global aviation industry.
