European Low-Cost Carrier Ryanair Holding Pilot Roadshow in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Europe’s largest low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced that it will be holding a Ryanair Dubai Pilot Roadshow in November in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Please see an extract of their announcement below.

“Ryanair are delighted to announce that we are visiting Dubai on Thursday 2nd November & will be holding a pilot recruitment roadshow at the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeriah Beach, The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence. Our pilot recruitment team will be hosting 2 sessions, please only attend one session, the first session will take place between 10am & 12pm & the 2nd session between 3pm & 5pm. We will be delighted to meet Rated & Non-Rated Pilots who are interested in positions throughout the Ryanair Group. On the day we will be discussing basing, salary, fast track career opps, our famous 5/4 roster, growth & basing opps!” shared Ryanair.

Poland Military Flight Training Academy Takes Delivery of New ALSIM Flight Simulator

Deblin, Poland based Polish Air Force University/Military Aviation Academy (ACSL Air Force Academy) has taken delivery of a new Diamond Da-40/Da-42 FNTP II class aircraft, manufactured by well known international flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM

“The delivery was carried out as part of a tender won by GB Aircraft Sp. z o.o. announced by LAW in the spring of this year. The ALSIM AL4X simulator is the second device of this type in the equipment of the ACSL Air Force Academy, it has a modular cabin configuration with a full reflection of the cockpits of the Da-40 and Da-42 aircraft, original Garmin G1000NXi avionics, laser projectors and a system ensuring the regulation of temperature and humidity of the air supplied to the crew cabin (cockpit). The time to change (convert) cockpits is less than 10 minutes. The simulator will be used in training for PPL(A), CPL(A), IR and PBN licences on Da-40 and Da-42 aircraft.” shared Rafal Karski, CEO of GB Aircraft which is the sales representative of Cessna, Cruiser Aircraft, Lightwing Aircraft, Stemme/Ecarys & MD Helicopters in Poland.

ALSIM previously delivered the first AL40/42 simulator to the academy in 2020.

One of Greece’s largest flight schools Egnatia Aviation has shared that it is now approved by Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to deliver:

  • ATPL theory to upgrade from CPL to ATPL
  • MPL to CPL conversion
  • Revalidation/renewal of license or ratings

This follows Egnatia Aviation announcement in July 2023 when it became a United Arab Emirates GCAA Approved Training Organisation. That approval allows it to provide and conduct ATP(A) Integrated Course, Conversion of Foreign Licenses, and Qualified Military Pilots (QMP) Course to Emiratis (all training, exams, and skill tests will be delivered in Greece).
