Ireland’s National Flight Centre Opens Registration for its January 2024 Full-Time Professional Pilot Training Course

Weston Airport-based National Flight Centre, Ireland’s largest approved flight training organisation and Air Operators Certificate (AOC) holder, announced it has opened the registration for the January 2024 Full-Time Professional Pilot Training Course.

Under this course, no previous flying experience is necessary, but you must be at least 17 years of age when the course commences and have the right to live and study in the EU.

The course is limited to 14 students, and all training is completed in 18 months. It consists of 230 hours of flight and simulator training, 800 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction, and the Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Co-operation Course.

United States based pilot and aircraft maintenance training organisation Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology recently hosted a new class orientation at their Broomfield campus in Colorado.

This Spartan campus trains students in two technology based disciplines: Aviation Maintenance Technology and Aviation Electronics Technology. Equipment on campus includes over 80 powerplants such as two Rolls Royce RB 211-22B turbine engines, IFR6000 test equipment, an ADSB test system and multiple aircraft to work on including three Cessna 172s, a Cessna 152, LearJet 24,  Falcon 20, and a Beech C-35 Bonanza.
