Canadian Pilot Training Organisation Select Aviation College Receives $5,000 Credit for Outstanding Safety Record

Canada-based pilot training organization Select Aviation College has been awarded a $5,000 credit by Global Aerospace in recognition of its exemplary safety record. This prestigious acknowledgment highlights the college’s commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards across its operations.

The achievement is the result of a coordinated effort by the entire team at Select Aviation College, including the maintenance and operations teams, the safety committee, instructors, and students. The award reflects the college’s focus on fostering a culture of safety at every level.

Following consultations with students, the college has announced plans to allocate the credit toward key initiatives:

  • 2025 Safety Seminar: A dedicated event to reinforce safety best practices.
  • Glycol De-Icing System: Enhancing aircraft safety during winter months.
  • French Aviation Communication Workshop: Introducing a basic workshop to improve aviation communication in French.
  • Upgrading Operational Equipment: New equipment to further enhance flight operations.
