The achievement is the result of a coordinated effort by the entire team at Select Aviation College, including the maintenance and operations teams, the safety committee, instructors, and students. The award reflects the college’s focus on fostering a culture of safety at every level.
Following consultations with students, the college has announced plans to allocate the credit toward key initiatives:
- 2025 Safety Seminar: A dedicated event to reinforce safety best practices.
- Glycol De-Icing System: Enhancing aircraft safety during winter months.
- French Aviation Communication Workshop: Introducing a basic workshop to improve aviation communication in French.
- Upgrading Operational Equipment: New equipment to further enhance flight operations.
