Aircraft Manufacturer will be Meeting Demand by 2030, Predicts Chairman of Avia Solutions Group

Global – Boeing will return to meeting commercial aircraft delivery demand by 2030, according to Gediminas Ziemelis, chairman and founder of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI and wet-lease provider. Ziemelis shared his forecast following a visit to Boeing’s Seattle facilities for the ceremonial signing of the Group’s order for up to 80 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, including 40 firm orders and 40 options.

The chairman predicts that 2026 will be the last year to experience significant delivery impacts, with both manufacturers returning to 2018 production levels by 2030.

I’ve seen first-hand as a customer that Boeing is turning the corner on its production issues,” said Ziemelis. “By 2030, I expect both Boeing and Airbus to have resumed normal operations. The more vocal critics are often seeking to capitalize on current challenges, but our confidence in Boeing remains strong.
