Air India Seeking Flight Instructor Applications in 2024 for Start of FTO in 2025

Amravati, India – Tata Group-owned Indian flag carrier Air India, which announced plans in July 2024 to establish a flight training organisation at Belora Airport in Amravati, Maharashtra, is now actively searching for candidates to apply for Flight Instructor positions.

The Academy aims to train commercial pilots and will be the largest such flight training organisations in South Asia, planning to become operational in 2025. It will operate 31 single-engine aircraft and three twin-engine aircraft for training purposes.

  • 1,000+ hours of flight time
  • 500+ hours of instructional flying
  • Experience with aircrafts similar to Air India FTO
