Denmark – Simnest Aviation, a simulator manufacturer, announced the successful qualification of Center Air Pilot Academy’s (CAPA) new Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator by the Danish Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This marks the fourth Simnest simulator qualified by the Danish CAA, further strengthening its position in the pilot training industry.
- The A320 FNPT II MCC simulator was praised by the Danish CAA for its high-fidelity design, realistic flight characteristics, and behavior.
- Simnest emphasized the type-representative nature of its simulators, designed to help cadets accelerate their progression to airlines.
- The new simulator will primarily serve CAPA students, including those training for airlines such as Jettime, Norwegian, and Scandinavian Airlines.

While in September L3Harris Commercial Aviation has announced a simulator update agreement with Pier Seven Aviation to upgrade their C2000X Std 1.3 A320 Full Flight Simulator to the latest Airbus standard. This significant update aims to extend the simulator’s life span by at least 15 years.
