Full Flight Simulator Solution Provider HAVELSAN Ramps Up Activities and Support for Airlines and Simulator Training Centers

Flight simulator solution provider and manufacturer HAVELSAN is taking steps to ramp up activities to support airlines and training center operators with their pilot training requirements this includes the ability to manufacturer up to 8 full flight simulators (FFS) and 4 flight training devices (FTD) per year as well as support airlines and simulator training centers with their expansion plans through flexible solutions.

HAVELSAN’s orderbook includes device contract awards from a number of airlines including Turkish Airlines which placed an order for a total of eleven (11) full flight simulators and FTDs as well as full flight simulator operators.

Over the last few months, HAVELSAN delivered a number of Boeing B737MAX and Airbus A320 full flight simulators and achieved subsequent EASA certification of devices. It also collaborated with airline partners such as Turkish Airlines to support its airline customers with flexible solutions such as setting up a Turkish Airlines training center location in Ankara, Türkiye. HAVELSAN is especially putting focus on providing industry leading after sales support and discussing with customers long-term cooperation projects.

Eco-conscious Brand-New Facility for Enhanced Training Experience

Spanning over 5,000 square meters, the new facility will be fully equipped with eight full-flight simulator bays, briefing and debriefing rooms, spacious classrooms, dedicated lockers, and a customer lounge area.

Overseeing this project from inception, Simaero has partnered with BARJANE, a property group deeply committed to innovative and sustainable real estate ventures. Together, they meticulously designed every facility detail, crafting global architecture and interior design concepts to enhance the on-site training experience while minimizing its environmental impact. This project will adhere to ISO 14 001 standards, and the building will pursue BREEAM certification., the world’s leading science-based suite of validation and certification systems for a sustainable built environment.

The installation of the first Airbus A350 full-flight simulator is slated for completion by year-end, ensuring certification and operational readiness by January 2025. Exploring the utilization of the remaining bays, Simaero is considering incorporating A320 neo/ceo and B787 full-flight simulators. Additionally, the company is extending housing and maintenance packages to airlines interested in owning their full-flight simulator and looking for a high-quality partner able to ensure its operations and housing in an ideal location in Paris CDG.

Up to this point, BBN Airlines Indonesia has prepared three Boeing 737-800 fleets to accommodate charter passenger requests and three cargo planes with a mix of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-400 fleets for both domestic and international flights. With the existing fleet and increasing demand, BBN Airlines Indonesia targets operating a total of 40 aircraft by 2027.
