Philippines-based Alpha Aviation Group Announces that 18 Students Join its Aircraft Maintenance Internship Program

Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) Maintenance Training Center (MTC) inducted 18 students from the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) to its Aviation Maintenance Internship Program (AMIP) on 16 February 2024.

In his welcome remarks, Capt. Gaudencio Maniano (AICAT Accountable Manager) expressed his gratitude to the students for joining the program, underscoring its comprehensive nature and role in preparing the students for their careers in aviation through theoretical concepts and practical applications.

Capt. Vicente Casibang II (AAGP Accountable Manager) was also present to greet the students, highlighting the important role of aircraft maintenance in ensuring the safety and quality of aviation operations. “We are committed to providing you with a training experience that enriches your knowledge while equipping you with the essential skills needed to excel in the industry,” Capt. Casibang shares.

Also in attendance were Renz Jayson Dilag (AICAT-AMO Aircraft Maintenance Manager) and Kevin Dy Tria (AICAT-MTC Head of Training), highlighting AICAT-MTC’s integrated training philosophy that aims to instill a strong foundation of skills, knowledge, and professionalism in its trainees.
