South Africa – ALT Academy, a pilot training group and full flight simulator training center based at O. R. Tambo International Airport, has significantly expanded access to EASA-standard pilot training and certification in South Africa through a strategic partnership with Easy Pilot. In addition it has adopted FlightLogger’s digital training management platform.

In July 2025, ALT Academy partnered with Easy Pilot to open South Africa’s second EASA exam centre at its Johannesburg campus, adding to the existing Grand Central location.

The academy is also preparing to launch access to a certified A320 Full Flight Simulator by October 2025—enhancing its ability to deliver complete, localised EASA training pipelines.
