China’s Major Aircraft Manufacturer to Produce 150 Jets Annually
Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), the main vehicle in implementing large passenger aircraft programs in China, plans to manufacture 150 aircraft annually in the next five years. During the Zhuhai Airshow 2022, COMAC received a whopping order of 300 aircraft from seven domestic aircraft leasing companies. COMAC delivered the very first C919 to China Eastern Airlines in December of last year. The aircraft manufacturer has an order book of roughly 1,200 aircraft.

Fast Growing Middle Eastern Airline, flynas, to Expand Operations to 2 Additional Countries
Saudi Arabia’s fast growing low-cost carrier flynas is set to establish local units in two countries yet to be disclosed. In a statement to Bloomberg, flynas said that it board has approved an initiative to seek Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in two additional countries as it plans to double the scale of its operations. Moreover, flynas is seeking to increase its jet orders to up to 250 and is into the prospect of widebodied aircraft like Boeing Co 787 and Airbus SE A350.
