Airbus Releases Latest Aircraft Order and Delivery Updates (September 2022)

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has released its latest data on aircraft orders and deliveries placed in September.

  • September 2022 deliveries: 55 deliveries to 31 customers
  • September 2022 orders: 13
  • 2022 deliveries to date: 437* deliveries to 66 customers.

*The net year to date delivery number of 435 reflects a reduction of 2 deliveries recorded in December 2021 (2 A350-900 AEROFLOT) for which a transfer was not possible due to international sanctions.

Airbus Delivers 500th A350 to Spanish Airline

Airbus has delivered its 500th A350 to Iberia, Spain’s national airline, which is the 15th of this kind among the carrier’s fleet. According to Airbus, it has been eight years since the first aircraft of this kind has been delivered to an airline and that is Qatar Airways in particular.
