Dubai-based Airline flydubai Set to Hold Pilot Roadshow in Poland in February 2024

flydubai, an airline headquartered in Dubai, will be conducting a pilot roadshow to hire First Officers in Warsaw, Poland on February 1-2, 2024. The airline will be holding morning and afternoon sessions for applicants.

flydubai operates a growing fleet of 84 Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline has an order backlog of 137 737s. In November 2023, Boeing and flydubai announced an agreement to purchase 30 787-9 Dreamliners as the airline diversifies its fleet with the introduction of widebody jets.

During the Dubai Airshow in November 2023, Emirates announced an order for 15 additional Airbus A350-900s worth US$ 6 billion. This takes Emirates’ total A350 order book to a total of 65 units. Moreover, during the same global event, Emirates placed a significant order for 95 additional wide-body aircraft, taking its total order book to 295 aircraft. Emirates has committed to 55 additional Boeing 777-9s and 35 777-8s which brings Emirates’ total 777X orders to 205 units. It also updated its Boeing 787 Dreamliner order to 35 units: 15 787-10s and 20 787-8s.
