Global pilot training group Skyborne, which operates flight training bases in the United Kingdom and the United States has shared that it has simplified its selection process for its IndiGo Cadet pilot program.

With our US FAA-approved course, you will experience an international training experience with Skyborne that incorporates the very best training facilities, fleet and instruction available. On completion, you will receive dual-licences – FAA and DCGA. Having been selected by IndiGo from the start, you will receive support and a Letter of Intent to employ (LOI) from IndiGo Airlines.” stated Skyborne on its website.
The US$132,000 course is done in 3 phases:
- Phase 1 – US FAA CPL SEIR (12 months) in Florida, United States
- Phase 2 – US FAA to India DGCA Flight License Conversion (2 months) in India
- Phase 3 – Combined MCC & A320 Type Rating (3 months) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Skyborne has shared that for the selection it utilises the Adapt assessment suite from Symbiotics.
