Egnatia Aviation, a flight school based in Kavala, Greece, announced it has welcomed the latest cohort of seven (7) Wizz Air cadets who are set to begin their immersive flight training experience with the flight school’s comprehensive Airline Integrated Programme. Egnatia Aviation is an approved Airline flight training provider of Wizz Air. Egnatia Aviation and Wizz Air have been promoting a successful partnership for four years in a row. Since 2018, they have accepted hundreds of cadets from across Europe to take on the flight training they need to enter the aviation industry with little to no previous experience.

Pilot Flight Academy, a well known European flight training organistion located at Torp Sandefjord Airport, shared it has welcomed cadet pilots from Icelandair.
In September, Icelandair announced the launch of a new ab initio pilot cadet training program in partnership with Pilot Flight Academy.The program is designed to provide students with priority employment opportunities at Icelandair upon graduation. The training program includes theoretical training in Sandefjord, Norway, lasting about 8 months, followed by practical training in Texas for 4 months. Afterward, students return to Norway for instrument and multi-engine training, A-UPRT, and APS MCC training, with the entire program taking approximately 18 months.
